Drake has over-taken fellow
Canadian Justin Bieber to become the most popular artist on Spotify.
The rapper and singer, who
released new album Views last month, is now the most streamed artist of all
time on the popular app. According to Billboard, Drake
has just edged past Bieber this week, with 3.21 billion streams compared to his
3.18 billion.
The star has achieved the
impressive feat despite the fact that he had an exclusive deal with Spotify
rival Apple Music, meaning that his new album wasn’t even made available on the
app for two weeks after release.
