Italian Prosecutor Seeks 6 Months Jail Sentence for New Chelsea Boss Conte

Prosecutors in the on-going match-fixing case involving in-coming Chelsea coach, Antonio Conte have called for the 46-year old to receive a six month prison sentence.

The former Juventus manager in on trial for sporting fraud over his reported failure to report Siena players who were allegedly attempting to fix a match against AlbinoLeffe in May 2011. Conte was managing Siena at the time, but denies any wrong doing. 

The case is not expected to come to any kind of ruling for at least another month, with the prosecution's discussions beginning on Tuesday and Conte's defense expected to begin next Monday.
